I was happy to see it come to Virgin Media many years ago and really love it with the V6 TiVo box. It would be a great loss if they replace it with their 'Horizon' platform.Jameshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05825791876771978490noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2644371100807363751.post-38848914741843545612019-02-13T14:07:02.780+00:002019-02-13T14:07:02.780+00:00this cant come sooner the tivo ui is very dated an...this cant come sooner the tivo ui is very dated and lacking any innovation nothing new has been added in years to the ui horizon would be a welcomed changed and it will have tivo functions much like the sky q interface :-) KillerCroc1https://www.blogger.com/profile/08407085271305527888noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2644371100807363751.post-1696877186248233822019-02-01T22:39:33.222+00:002019-02-01T22:39:33.222+00:00My view changed when i upgraded to the V6 box. When we heard rumours a while back about the possibility of virgin adopting the horizon platform i was quite looking forward to it but now i'd much prefer to stick with the tivo platform. I still believe Virgin need to add small UI changes to refresh the look. Say a different colour scheme or choices of different colours but keep tivo. I've never understand why so many reviews dismiss it as dated: if "modern" is a pretty-but-limited Netflix/Now interface then I'll stick with TiVoNiallihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11917083363610144290noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2644371100807363751.post-50127419694103919312019-01-23T19:50:51.718+00:002019-01-23T19:50:51.718+00:00Interesting. It’s very solid and dependable, so if they do make a change, it really needs to be great.Chrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16249558385272294428noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2644371100807363751.post-89122208337160202482019-01-16T15:47:37.809+00:002019-01-16T15:47:37.809+00:00Interesting. So are you saying that the V6 box is just running TiVo software, and it could be made to run Horizon software instead?<br />I always thought the V6 was a "TiVo Box" which could only ever run TiVo software. But that could be a false assumption.Scott McCarthyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15614436829002303198noreply@blogger.com
