You have to leave the App to watch BBC via the iplayer, which is a shame, however I think this is what the BBC are demanding rather than anything Virgin planned. My iPhone 6 is showing its age and loads most Apps slowly, but I don't think the new VM apps are any slower. I have two iOS devices (an iPad Air 2 and an iPhone 6, both running iOS 11.2). Neither updated to the TV Control App automatically but I deleted the old App and manually downloaded the new (it's in the App store - search for Virgin Media and you'll find it). Works fine, but if you try to watch anything it points you to the Virgin TV Go app, which I can't see available at the moment. <br />Having experienced the challenges of launching new apps with Apple in my previous job, I'm not surprised the new one hasn't appeared on schedule - the delay is almost certainly with Apple rather than Virgin Media.
