    Until a recent upgrade to my TiVo box it would record the previous one hour on the channel set when switched to standby. I found this facility really useful and regularly used it.
    In a telephone call to Virgin Media I was told to change the settings as follows:
    Go to Home>help & Settings>Settings>Devices>Power Save Settings.
    I have tried all four power save settings and have not been able to restore this facility. Instead I get these very frustrating Waking Up and Entering Standby messages when switching on and off.
