What's new on Netflix

It's not the prettiest site I've seen, but this site has the latest content added to Netflix each week: http://uk.istreamguide.com/

Does anyone know if content is removed from Netflix on a regular basis, or does it stay there indefinitely?

    I have come across the occasional item having been removed, such as the show Twin Peaks.

    When watch lists were launched it was stated that stuff shortly to be removed would be flagged in a similar fashion to how shows with new episodes are, but I haven't noticed this on anything yet.
