Nice to have a better design (the font changes are very welcomed).
However the whole UI still feels ancient, cumbersome and extremely slow.
I wish VM would get over their obsession with Tivo's search abilities (which to be honest really are nothing to boast about) and get the whole thing modernised.
The 'Freetime' UI by Freesat looks miles better and it's bloody free!
It's just a new skin, nothing significant has changed.
ReplyDeleteThe whole interface needs a total revamp. It has not changed since I had my original Tivo nearly 15 years ago. It is slow and cumbersome.
How about new category listings in My Shows, eg Partially Watched, Movies and Kids? Pretty neat to my eyes.
ReplyDeleteNoticed mine had changed yesterday, Harrow, NW London
ReplyDeleteany idea when the update will reach the Glasgow area ?
ReplyDeleteyes i agree tivo very slow and clunky, they realy need to dump this crap and get up to date

ReplyDeleteGot my update today in Linwood, Scotland.
ReplyDeleteVery happy with UI performance.
If you press LEFT it takes you to HOME and RIGHT displays INFO.
Don't know if it done this before, but I personally like these shortcuts.
Arrived in Glasgow this morning :)
ReplyDeleteWhen Belfast?
ReplyDeleteWhen is Birmingham getting the update?
ReplyDeleteManchester got it today, am I the only one who thinks it looks dead ugly and also as if it were made about 30yrs ago?? Bring the old TiVo back!
