ITV has reached an agreement with Virgin Media to continue to make its channels available to the company's 4 million TV customers for the next three years.
The deal, which ends more than a year of discussions that were acrimonious at times, comes after ITV delivered an ultimatum to Virgin Media to reach a deal this week or potentially face a blackout of shows such as Love Island and Coronation Street.

Now that's sorted, VM will go back to the table with UKTV, expect Dave and Co back on the screen within the next few weeks....
ReplyDeletePlease bring back UKTV
ReplyDeleteI only really watch itv4 but I’m happy they agreed for everyone’s benefit.
ReplyDeleteNow they can focus on giving us 4K channels, an Apple TV / smart TV app like BT have and whatever else they can do to move forward technologically.
Let something give give us back our UKTV
ReplyDeleteBt 4k uhd channel now on virgin media channel 555
ReplyDeleteBt sport 4k picture any good?
ReplyDeleteTop picture, if you go from SD-HD-4K UHD, it’s like heaven
DeleteWow Virgin Media will now put the prices up and we’ll be paying more money for TV that’s already free.
ReplyDeleteWould be nice to get some content that’s not already available on freeview.
Oh, by the way, if you go onto BT website at the moment to see if you can get it any cheaper (you can't) you will see that they will be putting price's up in September, which believe it or not is their annual increase, Like virgin do in March and sky do sometime once a year. Anyway yes we lost UKTV for the meantime, but it will be back so...

I didn’t care about ITV , I think VM should be working harder to sort out the problem with UKTV and do it quickly or end up losing more loyal
ReplyDeleteVM customers
Isn’t Premier Sports only available for two months then you need to pay?
ReplyDeleteI believe that's correct
DeleteQuest HD turned up today CH 217
ReplyDeleteI never had any doubt that ITV would strike a deal being that Virgin Media/Liberty Global are their biggest shareholder.
