BT Sports on Virgin Media

There's no confirmation still on whether or not we will get the new BT Sports channels on Virgin Media. Today it was announced that BT Broadband customers will get the channels "free" (check the small print) whilst Sky customers will need to cough up £15 for HD versions, £12 for the SD, but there's nothing about VM carriage.
Could be that the legals around the Liberty Global merger are prohibiting other deals for now, or maybe they just can't agree a deal. As soon as I hear anything official I will let you know.

Well will just have to sign up with bt if that's the only way to get rugby premiership. Pity as we've been with cable since telewest dug up the road outside our house! May save some money as VM seems pretty expensive nowadays...

Wouldn't be paying through the nose to get a bt line in with 1 meg connection at low demand times just to get a few epl games. If vm get the channel I won't pay extrafor it either.

I'm more annoyed that BT have bought up the ESPN channels, with ESPN America disappearing. I hope they will show college football on the new BTESPN channel!!!
