Starzplay

We signed up to Starzplay on my V6 at 7.30pm to watch Castle Rock and Virgin are still “processing” my order at 10pm! Whole evening wasted. Not exactly “On Demand” is it? More like “When Virgin Get Round To It”. Pathetic

I also signed up and had similar issue.

Unlike sky channels upgrades which are usually available within minutes (my experience) I was told by CS that STARZPLAY is a third party provider so could take 3-4 hours to activate.
After 6 hours I contacted CS who did a refresh their end. I also restarted my box. It was available after about 9 hours.

I finally got access overnight but it's not what you expect from an 'On Demand' service, is it? And if it is going to take a length of time shouldn't Virgin Media say that clearly before you click to order?
I've signed up, will watch Castle Rock and Mr Mercedes then cancel. Presumably that takes a while too and will probably mean me ringing CS

It's a little late for you, but you can actually get the same offer through Amazon Prime channels. The last time I signed up through that it was a doddle both to sign up and to cancel.

Thanks @Ross. I'm not a permanent Prime subscriber so I thought I'd sign up to Starzplay through the V6. Won't do that again...
