Fox channel closes June 30th

From 30th June, Disney owned The Fox Channel will no longer be available in the UK or Ireland, with many shows now expected to appear on Star as the company continues to transfer its content to the Disney+ streaming service.
Disney acquired The Fox Channel as part of its take over of 21st Century Fox in 2019 but the channel had been broadcasting in the UK, first as the FX Channel then as Fox, since 2004. A rebranding exercise by Disney has seen the legacy Fox name dropped from many of 21st Century Fox acquired film and TV studios and the removal of the Fox Channel in the UK is another round of scrubbing away the brand.
The move will affect viewers of Fox on the Sky/NOW, Talk Talk and Virgin Media linear TV platforms from June 30th.

Well my contract is up in 2 weeks and it is going up £15 a month so I wil lbe losing the TV.
had enough of seeing repeat and repeat after repeat and all that reality rubbish!
Time to stream and watch what I want not what someone else decides I should watch!

And at the end of the ywar National Geographic and National Geographic Wild.

Getting to the point to cut the cable!

Sadly, except for the football I think I've watched more on my £25 Roku than I have on my two V6s this year. Cable cutting a very real proposition when my contract's up in January.

Mine is up now.... I basically only watch Discovery, NG and Fox and anything else I can get on catchup and the MLB app.

So for less than £2o per month I can get what I want to watch

It's a shame Now prices are increasing so regularly. I pay £95 a month for Virgin's 500 mb broadband, full TV (sport and movies), phone and an unlimited SIM. I'll do the maths nearer the time of renewal but it's going to be difficult to justify when I compare it to the streaming services I dip in and out of with the Roku.

And I pay £78 per month with no sport or movies (except BT Sport which comes with package) and only 100Mb and they would like me to increase my speed due to all my smart home stuff!

They will have a shock when I only keep my broadband!

will probably reduce my package. Not worth watching without Fox for NCIS
