A new multi-year agreement will make BT’s 4K channel available to Virgin TV Full House and VIP bundle customers at no extra cost, from July 30th.
Virgin and BT’s partnership has been extended in a multi-year agreement spells good news for sport fans who own a 4K TV, Virgin TV V6 box and subscribe to Virgin TV’s Full House or VIP bundles - it will see them automatically gain the BT Sport 4K UHD channel (531). New and existing Virgin TV customers signed up to its Player or Mix bundles will be able to add all BT Sport channels, including the 4K one, to their package for £18 per month.
BT Sport’s coverage includes UEFA Champions League, Europa League and Premier League matches, the FA Cup, European Rugby Champions Cup and MotoGP - some of which will be offered in 4K.

At last 4k content
Woohoo!
I've literally just got off the phone with Virgin to sign-up because of this deal. :-)
Ironically, I'll also be cancelling my BT-Broadband to switch to Virgin. So BT are the main losers from the BT Sport 4K deal. Go Figure.
Great to see 4k finally coming and not just through BBC I player.. Hopefully movies won't be too far behind
Maybe American TV series on sky will start in 4k soon???
All we need now is HDR support on the V6 box.
I hope this is finally the start of a rush if 4K channels. I hope we don’t have to wait long for the next one to join. And let’s not end up with an SD, HD and 4K version of every channel. Let’s cut the channel list down whoever is in charge of that.
SD TV is a waste of resources. Does anyone actually watch it. I know the picture quality I get is shit.
On Sky BBC1 sd and Itv sd and chan4 sd is really good.sky1 sd and true movie channels and sky sports sd channels are poor pictures.sky2 is rubbish picture.
Whats the Virgin media v6 tivo like?
I would like to have the 4k sports form Sky as I am paying for sky Sports.
HDR is supported for Netflix only.
