Virgin's TV Anywhere app on Android is being updated, allowing more subscribers to view channels on their devices.
A Virgin Media spokesperson explained that while more phones and tablets would be able to make use of Virgin TV Anywhere, not all devices can be fully supported from launch. (The list of currently supported Android devices can be found here.)
A spokesperson said: “We are always looking at new ways to make Virgin TV Anywhere available to more customers on more devices. Later this week, the most comprehensive entertainment-anywhere service of its kind will be enabled for another 25 smartphones and tablets.
“Due to the volume of Android devices in the market, these have not gone through extensive testing to be classified as “supported”.”

Interesting that they recognize the Nexus 7 as the tablet it is but only support it as a phone because of its screen size.
Is the list on the link the new list or the existing list before the update? Hope not I have a Galaxy tab 3!
Will this app ever become available for windows phone?
cant see it if honest sportex windows phones are not massively popular. major aim will be android and ios
Rob c, its a shame really because the window phones are ui friendly and have a very fast os
What an waste of Virgin Media time and money, roll out faster and better connected internet and an Tivo box that stream and plays UHD,
If only they was an standard for video that all device could play and an format for application that all mobile supported and desktops, Chrome, Safari, IE XX.XX for windows phones
Question. In our house we have 4 ipads and 1 nexus 7. We use TV Anywhere on one of the iPads. Will it also work on the nexus, or will it be a case of one or the other?
