Then on Wednesday we have Virgin's results for the first quarter of 2010, which is often accompanied by announcements of new services. Whilst rumours of Sky1 HD and other high def arrivals are rife on the forums, I've not heard anything to confirm anything is as iminent as the next few days. Besides, with many of us still awaiting NGTV and our four missing HD channels, any more HD channels are probably unlikely until the roll out is complete and everyone can get the new stuff.

Have noticed last few days on sky 1 it did say also avail on sky 1hd ch 170 on sky but not seen it for the last few days.Maybe tis on the way to virgin.
Sky1 was still touting channel 170 before and during Lost on Friday. What I thought was a bit naughty was the promotion of The Pacific said that it was being shown exclusively on Sky Movies HD, which is not true as it also shows on the SD channels too.
Is Sky unique in the way it plugs the HD versions? There is the occasional promotion of BBC HD and ITV1 HD, but blink and you will miss them. Sky is pretty much every programme.
i don't think virgin have ever referred to the living hd channel have they in their living promos?
even the posters for cougar town plastered all over london failed to mention living hd. another example of virgin not shouting loud enough about its services.
FX is always referring to FX HD on Sky Channel 193, but rarely mentions it being available on Virgin. Not sure why they do this though since it's not a Sky owned channel, and FX HD has been on Virgin for a while now.
NGTV News: The Cambridge Headend has now gone NGTV.
HD News: Digital Spy Forum is reporting that Virgin Media are to launch an HD Channel for Bravo in May.
No confirmation of Bravo HD in the UK from Virgin TV. Yet.
