Sci Fi HD becomes Syfy HD and premieres V on UK TV

I'm not a big fan of the channel and don't have the HD version yet, but for both SD and HD viewers the big budget remake of V debuts tonight on SyFy HD at 10pm tonight with a double-episode.

Thanks for that, I wouldn't have known if it wasn't for checking here!

@OLU If you are on the Lewisham head end (which is the same as me) then you are looking at mid-May before we get SyFy, Discovery, Eurosport and E4 HD services.

The new V is utterly dreadful- I saw it when it first aired in the US 6 months ago. Really terrible pacing, completely destroys all the tension of the original. Poor casting too and lots of heavy handed religious rubbish in there.

As for Sci-Fi HD, well that would be nice wouldn't it. Virgin, are you listening?

Actually I thought V was pretty good, especially in HD :)

Don't really watch Syfy much but it seem pretty good with a half decent amount of HD programmes.

I'm with TVserity about V. What a steaming pile of youknowwhat. It's no wonder it's sinking like a rock in the US ratings.

Human Target was a little bit better, but not much. Both looked OK in HD, but the over-use of CGI sets and backgrounds didn't really do either one any favors.

Is anyone else having a dodgy echo problem with SyFy HD?
