The new HD channels on Virgin Media

Guess who's out of the country when Virgin adds its new HD lineup?
Me, that's who. After almost two years of campaigning for more HD channels on Virgin Media they are launching the four additional channels whilst I'm on bloody holiday. Typical.
I'll still be posting on this blog from afar but won't be able to actually view FX HD et al until mid-August, so if you have any comments to make on the new Virgin lineup when it finally appears please feel free to add comments to this post so that other visitors to the blog have an idea of how things are whilst I'm away. Enjoy...

HOILDAY OR NO HOILDAY AS LONG AS THIS HD CHANNELS SHOW WHEN THEY SAID IT WOULD

AND AS ANY ONE ASK IF THIS CHANNELS ARE GOING TO SHOW 24HRS OR IS IT GOING TO SHOW LIKE (BBC HD) LITTLE HRS THEN OFF

JUST HOPE TOO GOD ALL THIS WAITTING AROUND WILL WORTH IT,
CAUSE SOME PEOPLE WOULD BE SO ANGRY IF AFTER ALL THE WAITING AND IT WILL ONLY SHOW LESS THAN 24HR

Olu good point about the channels being part time. is there an answer to this at all?

Ps Olu is your Caps lock broken as using caps is akin to shouting and im sure we can all hear perfectly well :p

You are mmaking a bit of an assumption that they will be launched in the next couple of weeks?

Anyway, assuming they are the same timings as on satellite, FX HD is 7pm to about 2am, MTVN HD is 24 hours, and National Geographic (who actually have two HD channels) is 8am to about 2am.

Just found this on Fox, also on various news sites, not forums. Sounds very exciting and a kick in the teeth for sky.
