Virgin's first HD ad

Showing during this week's Britain's Got Talent.
BTW, ever wondered why Sky ads are everywhere? Marketing Week reports that BSkyB’s marketing spend is on course to hit £1bn this year!

Good ad. Those penguins are bound to make a bit of a mess though...

I like the ad but without the reference to HD at the end I thought it looks like a 3D TV ad. (Maybe this was the intention)

Interesting they were hinting at HBO's amazing 'The Pacific' with the last section of the ad, which is only available in HD on Sky.

What is going on with Heros on BBC HD at the moment?
Sorry it,s a bit off topic but i'm not happy that I have missed Saturdays recording due to the BBC changing things round at the last second. This is not the first time they have change the line up on the BBC HD channel at the last moment.

@moonblade: BBC HD is not allowed to show programmes before the BBC1 or BBC2, so when the snooker meant programmes were delayed on BBC2 by over an hour, BBC HD's showing of Heroes was canned, too.
And I cannot see the final two episodes of season 4 anywhere on the BBC HD schedules in the coming week. The SD finale is being repeated next Friday evening though, on BBC2

Thanks for the heads up. Would have liked to see it in HD. Sigh..

I was a digital marketer for Sky around the time of their HD launch. Their CPA (cost per acquisition) on HD products was running at around £4k. This was deemed acceptable at the time. I'm sure it's come down substantially since then but really, Sky have money to burn when it comes to Marketing.
