Setanta collapse "imminent"
According to the press, Setanta may not make it to the end of the week, dashing any hope of a Setanta HD offering next season. Coverage here: Guardian Telegraph Times
So if Setanta collapses will we get a future discount on our bill? As it free to XL (so we must be paying something for it even if the cost is hidden?)
I don't recall a price increase when it was added to the package so I doubt there will be a reduction if/when it goes. I'm surprised ESPN hasn't launched a takeover attempt - they've been rumoured to have been interested in securing a better base in Europe and this would seem a quick way of establishing themselves.
